Shaik Moiz Ahmed is a skilled SDET with over 5 years of relevant experience in the field. Currently, he is working with Amazon as an SDET and has been associated with the company for a while now. In his current role, he is responsible for developing and maintaining automation frameworks for Amazon's products. Prior to Amazon, Shaik Moiz Ahmed has worked with some of the top tech giants like Apple and Google. During his tenure at Apple, he developed automation frameworks for the front-end and back-end of Apple maps. He also developed a geojson/maps data validation tool that checks the validity of the geojson zip file against 1500+ validations checks and lists all the errors and warnings. This eliminated 25+ hours of weekly manual regression testing. Additionally, he developed a new internal testing and visualization tool that helped visualize the end-to-end flow of data across different teams and helped identify inconsistencies and bugs across systems and microservices, increasing Engineering productivity. At Google, Shaik Moiz Ahmed developed latency testing infrastructure and automated tests for the Google store fall-2018 product pages, saving 100+ hours of repeated manual testing. He also prepared test plans and wrote automation code for Nest's professional installation products in the US and UK, resulting in a bug-free, reliable feature/product. Moreover, he implemented new automation for the backend team at Nest and improved the test code for existing/add-on features and microservices by implementing tests on team city, which reduced the need for manual testing, saving more than 70 hours of manual regression testing. Shaik Moiz Ahmed holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi. He is proficient in SDET, test, UI, frontend, software engineering, microservices, backend, web, and infra.
